IT Support by Industry in Auckland
At 6am, a builder needs his phone to ring on site. At 8pm, a hotel needs its WiFi to survive the dinner rush. At midnight on 31 March, an accountant needs the internet to just stay up. Same city. Same cables under the road. Completely different problems.
Mint provides IT support, internet and phones for Auckland businesses with 5 to 100 staff. We set everything up around how your industry actually works.

Why your industry changes the setup
A one-size IT setup treats a medical clinic like a warehouse and a law firm like a café. It leaves gaps exactly where you can't afford them. That's where we come in. We start with your working day, then build the tech to fit it.
Most IT providers sell the same package to everyone. Same laptops, same settings, same advice. Then they act surprised when it doesn't fit.
Your industry decides what "down" actually costs you. For a retailer, it's a queue of customers who can't pay. For a clinic, it's a patient record nobody can open. For a trades business, it's a missed call and a job that goes to someone else.
So we ask different questions. Where do your staff actually work? What can't stop, even for an hour? Which software runs your day? We set up your IT, internet and phones around those answers.
There's no extra cost for that. It's just how we do the job.
What stays the same, whatever you do
The setup changes from industry to industry. How we look after you doesn't.
- One team for IT, internet and phones. No more providers blaming each other.
- Around 15 minutes average response on critical issues.
- 98.2% first-time resolution, so you're not explaining the same problem three times.
- 24/7 monitoring, so we often spot problems before you do.
- Local technicians working out of our Birkenhead workshop.
- No lock-in contracts. Month-to-month, with one calendar month's notice.
FAQs
Do you only work with the industries listed here?
No. These are the industries we see most often, but we support plenty of others. If you've got 5 to 100 staff and no IT department, we can almost certainly help.
Will you support the software my industry uses?
Yes, in most cases. We already support common tools like Xero, MYOB and Microsoft 365, plus industry systems from booking platforms to practice management software. If we haven't used yours yet, we'll learn it.
Do you support businesses outside Auckland?
Yes. We fix most problems remotely, anywhere in New Zealand. Our own team handles onsite work across Auckland, and we send a trusted local contractor elsewhere.
What happens in the free IT health check?
It takes about 45 minutes. We look at your devices, internet, phones and security, then give you a plain-English list of what's working and what needs fixing.
