    How phone pricing works

You pay per person, per month. Here's how it adds up.

Per user, per month. A softphone user costs $13. A desk phone user costs $19, and that includes one softphone licence. Want unlimited calling to New Zealand and Australia? Add it for $20 per user.

Bigger team, lower price. After 35 users, every per-user price drops. A softphone is $8, a desk phone is $15 and unlimited calling is $18.

Pay as you call. Skip unlimited calling and you pay by the minute. Calls to NZ landlines are 1.9c a minute. Calls to NZ mobiles are 7.9c. Calling a toll-free number costs 3.4c from a landline and 14.9c from a mobile.

    Pricing questions, answered straight

    Are these prices GST inclusive?

No. Every price on this page excludes GST.

What's the difference between a softphone and a desk phone?

A softphone is an app. You make and take calls on your computer or mobile. A desk phone is a real handset that sits on your desk. It comes with one softphone licence, so you can still pick up calls on your laptop or mobile when you're out of the office.

When is unlimited calling worth it?

Once a user makes more than about 250 minutes of mobile calls a month. At 7.9c a minute, that's roughly where pay-per-minute costs catch up with the $20 add-on. After 35 users, unlimited drops to $18, so the tipping point comes a little sooner. If someone on your team spends the day ringing customers' mobiles, unlimited usually wins.

Does internet price depend on my address?

Availability does. What you can get depends on the fibre network at your address. The calculator shows our published business fibre prices, and we'll confirm what's available at your address before we quote.
