Does Microsoft 365 include backups?
No, not in the way you'd think. Microsoft keeps your data available and protects it for service resilience. That's not the same as a backup you can roll back from a mistake or an attack.
It's spelled out in Microsoft's own Services Agreement: backup is a shared responsibility, and the business side of that falls on you. That's why every Mint Managed IT plan includes independent backups for your email, OneDrive and SharePoint. If something gets deleted, corrupted, or hit by ransomware, we've got a copy you can restore from. No crossed fingers required.
What is Microsoft 365 Business Premium?
It's the version built for small and medium businesses that need more than just Office apps. Business Premium bundles the tools you already know (Outlook, Word, Teams) with proper identity, device management, and security controls on top.
Think stronger sign-in protection, remote device wipe if a laptop goes missing, and defences against phishing and account takeovers. It's included in Mint's Fully Managed plan, so you get the full toolkit without piecing it together yourself.
Can Mint migrate us to Microsoft 365?
Yes. We plan and run the whole move (mailboxes, files, devices) from whatever system you're on now.
